A few nights ago I was blessed with a dream of Shri Babaji. I do not remember the particulars too well other than that I was thinking to walk to the airport or someplace and He recommended that I take a train. Not finding a train, I took a taxi or rickshaw and arrived on time. A couple nights before that, I had a dream of Shri Muniraji. He was directing us in the preparation for a huge bhandara (feast).
I do not often receive dreams with Shri Babaji and Muniraji so I feel very grateful for these gifts. I refer to them as gifts because Shri Babaji said: "You do not dream of Me, I come to you in your dreams." And I feel this to be very true. Although I have yet to understand the significance of what happened in the dream, I still feel the effect. I awoke both mornings filled with deep peace and love. The dreams coupled by the mantra being in my mind as I fell asleep, any time I woke up in the night and upon awaking are a deep reassurance of the constant presence of the Divine in my life. Yes, I nurture this connection daily at the Ashram with aarati, fire ceremony, karma yoga, and japa but as I travel, it is also important to me to stay just as keenly aware of Babaji's and Muniraji's presence and love as well. I realized last night how grateful I am that even as I visit my sons and their families with all my grandchildren, I still keep a daily practice of yoga, fire ceremony, japa, and prayer.
These last two mornings as I was doing a small fire ceremony outside in Oakland, CA at my son Jake's home with his family, I appreciated how green California had become this year, the grandeur of the tall trees behind their home, and the warm sunshine on my back. Little Avalon and Sorin were so respectful at the fire ceremony and certainly know it quite well, having done it many times with me before. I know it makes a difference for them, their family, the property, the state of California, and the whole cosmos.
I remember when I first sat with Shri Babaji at His small fire ceremony outside of His room. It was 1981, at about 4:30am, and I did not have much of a clue about this ceremony that I was sitting at. But as I quietly felt and watched Babaji, His eyes looking up at the mountains, down the river, into the fire, and up to the stars; I just knew in my heart that this was affecting the whole cosmos. I also remember asking Shri Muniraji about allowing children to sit and offer at the fire ceremony. He told me that it was very good. He said that at such a young age for children to begin to burn their karma in this way and accrue the blessings of the fire ceremony was a wonderful thing. I am so grateful to have the teachings and guidance to this day from my beloved Lord, Babaji and His devoted servant, Muniraji.
Most of you know that I have been doing some videoing of devotees telling their experiences with Shri Babaji. I have heard from many viewers how inspiring these are for them and how important for them to keep that connection alive. We have decided to make the first day of the Samaj annual weekend this year, Saturday, July 30th into a day of satsang and sharing stories of Shri Babaji. We hope that many of you can attend this special day. Put it on you calendar and let us know at the Ashram so we can save you a room. (719-256-4108 or firstname.lastname@example.org)

It would seem that the Golden State Warriors will finish out their record-breaking year with another championship. This perhaps never to repeated team with all of their records have signed this basketball that comes with a certificate of authenticity. We also have a jersey signed by All-Star forward, Draymond Green. It may be the last of the Golden State Warrior basketballs and jerseys that we will receive as it was through the largess of my nephew, Luke Walton, assistant coach for the Warriors. Since he just signed to become coach of the Los Angeles Lakers next year, we may have Laker memorabilia on the auction after this. The basketball and jersey can be found under 'Memorabilia' on the auction by clicking here.
We are once again gifted with amazing get-aways for a day, a week, or even more. Having experienced all of these heavenly delights, I can not recommend them highly enough. Click here to view them all.
