The Temple is open from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The Maha Lakshmi Shop is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm. A phone call or email ahead of your visit is helpful but not mandatory (719-256-4108 or info@babajiashram.org). If you're not feeling well or have symptoms, please refrain from visiting the Ashram.
We will be honoring the Children after the 11am fire ceremony on Sunday. It would be wonderful to bring along your children to take part in this celebration.
Our Annual Spring Online Fundraiser Auction will begin on Friday, November 17 at 1:08pm MT, it will run for only eleven days until Monday, November 27 at 8:01pm MT. There are so many precious items that will make treasured gifts for your loved ones or yourself. There are many of Shri Babaji’s and the Divine Mother’s beads (from malas they wore), clothes, assans, and photos. There are also many beautiful pieces of art, jewelry, books, malas, statues, devotional items, clothing, and household items. You are surely going to find something you will love as you go through our catalogue of around 300 items. When ready, items will be available for viewing and bidding at fundraiser.bid/babajiashram.
The word mantra is derived from two Sanskrit words—manas (mind) and tra (tool). Mantra literally means “a tool for the mind,” and was designed to help practitioners access a higher power and their true natures.
Mantras are the instruments of the mind.
Babaji taught people to chant the ancient mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAYA, which may be translated as I take refuge in God. A mantra is a Sanskrit phrase which invokes the Divine by a name. There are thousands of names of God and thousands of mantras.
